| January 14, 2018 - Crawley Competes in 32nd Annual Chili Bowl Nationals |
 Kicking off the 2018 season, Tim Crawley made the trip to the Tulsa Expo Raceway (Tulsa, Oklahoma) on Thursday night for the 32nd annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Midget Nationals presented by General Tire. Rolling off 3rd in his heat race, Crawley landed a 2nd place finish behind Tyler Edwards locking his spot into a qualifier. Cruising to the 10-lap victory, Tim earned the 9th-starting position for the A-Main. Needing to place in the Top 3 to make the 55-lap main event on Saturday, Crawley dropped one spot to place 9th.
Returning to action on Saturday night to run in a B-Main for one final shot at the main event, Crawley needed a 6th place finish or better to make the 32nd annual Chili Bowl Nationals main event. Improving two spots in the 20-lap affair, Tim posted a 9th place finish.
