On Saturday night Tim Crawley headed to Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas) competing in five separate divisions for the 7th Annual Hooker Hood Classic. Competing in the #53 Street Stock, Crawley followed up a 2nd place finish in his heat race with a 4th in the feature finishing behind Ricky Vandergriff, Lynn Irwin, and Lance O’Brien with Joe Olive coming in 5th.
After improving four positions in his heat race in the 305 Winged Sprint divisions, Crawley landed a runner-up finish behind Eddie Gallagher. Starting on the pole for the feature, Tim cruised to the A-Main victory with A.G. Rains, Eddie Gallagher, Brian Bell, and Jan Howard trailing him across the finish line. (Scott Frazier photos)
Powering the #99 Open Wheel Modified, Tim held his spot in his heat logging a 2nd place finish behind Craig Vaughn. Starting in 5th for the feature, Crawley held his starting position recording a 5th place finish behind Troy Dow, Craig Vaughn, Jeff Scott, and Chris Moore.
In the second to last division of the night, Tim Crawley wheeled the #215 Super Late Model to a 3rd place finish in his heat earning him a 7th place starting position for the feature. Storming to the front, Crawley reeled in his second victory of the night with Brandon Poppenheimer, Bubba Wilburn, Terrell Hughes, and Shane Stephens following him to the checkers.
Improving three spots in his Mike Ward Racing #88 Sprint Car in his heat, Tim reeled in a heat race victory earning him a front row starting spot for the feature starting alongside Derek Hagar. Hanging on to his starting spot for all 40-laps, Crawley posted a runner-up finish behind Hagar, with Brad Bowden, Brian Bell, and A.G. Rains completing the top five.
