Tim Crawley piloted the #88 Mike Ward Motorsports Sprinter in a pair of Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Car Lone Star Region event in Texas and Arkansas
The weekend opened at the brand-new Timberline Speedway (Corley, Texas) on Friday night. Twenty-two entries took part in the event, and Crawley started the night by winning his heat race to earn the fourth starting spot for the main event. In the feature he raced in the top five throughout the event before advancing to a second place finish behind race winner, Terry Gray.
On Saturday evening Tim and the team were finally able to get over the hump as he raced to his first feature win of the 2013 campaign with a triumph at 67 Speedway (Texarkana, Arkansas)! He started the night by winning the fourth heat race to lock into the sixth starting spot for the 25 lap feature. As the race went green he quickly began working his forward to the lead, and once out front he decimated the field as he lapped into the top ten on his way to the victory over Zach Pringle, Logan Forler, Cody Gardner, and Ray Allen Kulhanek.
