Tim Crawley had a busy weekend in his #88 Mike Ward Racing/GF1 Chassis as he entered a pair of
United Sprint Car Series (USCS) events, where he claimed a victory, a podium finish, and a Speedweek title..
On Friday night the tour invaded Benton Raceway Park (Benton, Missouri) for a $2,000-to-win event. Crawley mounted a charge late in the feature to overtake leader, Terry Gray, to score the victory, which marked his seventh win of the 2013 campaign!
Saturday night took the team to Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas) for a make-up event from the Speedweek event in May that was rained out. Tim started the night by advancing from the eighth starting spot in his heat race to a fourth place finish, which locked him into the tenth starting spot for the 30 lap finale. During the course of the race he advanced seven spots to register a third place finish behind race winner, Jordon Mallett, and Zack Pringle. With his finish Crawley claimed the USCS Speedweek title by four markers over Derek Hagar.
