Tim and Mike Ward Motorsports entered a single event over the weekend as they took part in a Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) program at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) on Saturday evening. Thirty-one competitors entered the event, and after drawing a large number at the pill draw he started eighth in heat race action. He advanced three spots on his way to a fifth place finish, which left him short of accumulating enough points to lock into the feature. As a result he ran the b-main, which he won to earn the seventeenth starting position for the finale. In the feature he mounted a great charge through the field as he advanced fourteen spots on his way to a third place finish behind race winner, Wayne Johnson, and Tony Bruce Jr. Full results from the event are available at www.ASCSRacing.com.
